Cutest Little Tarrarium

I'm a pinterest freak. My fiance is always telling me he is going to put me on pintervention but he never does because he knows what would happen. Anyway, I found a great project that I had to do.

I found this glass star candle holder from World Market and as soon as I saw it I knew exactly what is was for.

I went and found some tiny succulents, pebbles, and miracle grow. Packed them in the star and there you go.... Your own little terrarium.

Make sure, with succulents, you have a glass container that has a door or a way to let air in. They don't need to be locked into a moisture rich environment.  You should only water your succulents about once a month.

Here is a close up of the plants inside.

I love my little plants.

Cookie Dough Snack

I'm not one to post recipes because I don't like to cook but this was worth trying and it only took seconds to make.  It's a recipe for ready to eat cookie dough. I LOVE LOVE LOVE cookie dough and I usually buy cookie dough just to eat and not to cook because like I said I don't like to cook. Regular cookie dough has egg in it and raw egg is not good to eat but this recipe has the great cookie dough taste without the nauseous side effects that the egg can make. AND IT IS SOOO GOOD! Please try it and tell me what you think.

ingle Serving Ready to Eat Cookie Dough Recipe: 1 tbsp Milk, 3 tbsp Flour, 2 tbsp Sugar (white or brown), 1 1/2 tbsp Butter, splash of vanilla extract & as many Chocolate Chips as you want!

Attention Avid Readers

Just a reminder that the new addition to the Sookie Stackhouse novel series is coming out August 30th, that's only 6 days away!!! It's been a long time since the original release, which was the month of February in 2011.

Now to the real reason for this blog post... I found the website I've been looking for!! It's called whatshouldireadnext or wsirn and it is specifically designed for readers who are looking for their next book to read.

Often times when I get finished with a book I don't have a clue what to read next, and I have found that I like a certain genre of books but, I don't really know what's in that group so, I get stuck. But this website allows you to put in the books you enjoy reading and it comes up with a list of books that is similar to the books you have previously read and liked. It is awesome and because I've been looking for it FOREVER I feel like other people might me looking for the same thing so here it is. I hope you enjoy!!

Pinterest

I found a new website this week, well, actually I refound it. I've had an account with Pinterest for awhile now but I've never been into it and I got truly and deeply bored so I started nosing around this website and IT IS AWESOME! I love it, I spend hours at a time on it. The website allows you to go through tons and tons of pictures and you can save the ones you like to your account. You can create different boards to categorize the pictures you find. I have several different boards like, one, is a board that has nothing but picture ideas for my friend Dottie's wedding and I have another one that has nothing but pictures of places I would like to travel one day. Here are some of the awesome pictures I have found using this website!

The Dating Scene

Hey everyone, if you were wondering, yes, I'm in the dating scene and YES I've had some awkward dates and YES I wish this scene was over and done with. I can't say that it's been all bad but with the good comes the bad.

It is fun being single and being able to mingle but there isn't anything like knowing you have a person you can call and talk to whenever you want, or that special someone you can snuggle up on the couch to watch a Harry Potter movie with. But it's really hard  getting to that point.

This is the rundown of initial contact. You see a guy or girl and you think he's cute, you smile, catch each other's eye, let them know, subtly, that you are interested and that you want to chat a little. If that goes well, get each other's numbers, text a couple of times and then if you decide to go on a date, great! That's when realtalk happens and you find out about the other person. Who they are, what they do, where they go, do they like cats, where they work, about their family and all that kind of good stuff that you can't get from stalking that person on facebook. :) You know you do it!!

Dating is hard work. Most of the time the guys look totally normal and then you dive in a little deeper and they turn out to be WEIRDOS! They expect a kiss on the first date, not cool, and then when they lean in to kiss you, it is NOT GOOD! Too slobbery, too bitey, too soft, too hard, and then your like ok it's over, done, I'm done. See you later... Peace out. And then you have guys who order your food for you, don't open NOT one door for you (when did that stop happening) talk too much and you're thinking to yourself, look man I'm not even listening to you anymore just SHUT-UP, don't talk enough (crickets chirping), don't get your sense of humor, don't get humor at all,  want to move too fast, don't know how to move at all. More times than not I'm totally disappointed and it's really really frustrating! And sometimes when you actually like a guy and you hit it off and things hit an upward stride, he stops talking to you.... WTF???

My question is... When will this end? I do have A LOT of fun being single. I don't have to worry about telling anyone where I'm going, what I'm doing. I don't have to have stupid arguments about stupid things. I don't have to worry about anyone else right now and that's really freeing and, how I like it but, I do want someone to worry about me from time to time and someone to hang out with and get to cuddle with. That would be nice. I think I would give up a little freedom for that kind of relationship but it has to be right and that, will take time.
